The oldest festival organised by the Pro Loco takes place every year in October. It is a celebration dedicated to chestnuts, their harvest and the many products made from them: roasted chestnuts, castagnaccio (a traditional chestnut cake) and boiled chestnuts, best enjoyed with an excellent glass of Sangiovese, all against the backdrop of the colourful autumn landscape of the surrounding mountains.

The event also offers visitors the opportunity to take part in chestnut picking in the local chestnut groves.

The traditional programme of food and entertainment is centred around the Festival Area, with a large fire brazier for roasting chestnuts and food stalls serving local specialities such as cappelletti (filled pasta), polenta, tortelli alla lastra, fried piadina and more.

In recent years, the Sagra del Raviggiolo  has also been held on the second Sunday. Raviggiolo is a soft, white cheese with a very delicate, slightly buttery flavour. On the third Sunday, visitors can experience the traditional local pig butchering ceremony, known as masè e porc.
